About the Author
Allison is a Wisconsin native, living in the Chicagoland area with her husband and two children. Growing up in Wisconsin, at an early age Allison learned to love the Green Bay Packers, cheese and, of course, bratwurst! Fun fact: her hometown, Sheboygan, is known as the "Bratwurst Capital of the World". Throughout her childhood, Allison was an avid reader and enjoyed getting lost in a book, she even spent her teenage years working at the local public library. She was offered the job as a Library Page hours after interviewing, where she shared her love for books and demonstrated her expert knowledge of Dewey Decimal System! Being raised in a close-knit community, she also learned the value of family and friendships and to cherish the people you love.
Finding a path in life where she could have a positive impact on people's lives has always been a number one priority. Allison graduated from UW-Milwaukee, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management and International Business. Since then she has spent her career in Human Resources.

The inspiration for writing children's books has been Allison's own daughter and son. The journey of parenting has taught Allison that we, as adults, have the blessing and responsibility to shape the minds of our children--the future generations and leaders of our world. Through story telling, she hopes to do her part to positively influence the very impressionable minds of children around the world. To teach them that they can be humble and empathic toward those around us, but most of all that each child is important, and not only has a voice, but also the opportunity to make the world of loving, sustainable place for all.
